Rez Infinite on Amazon Luna

Rez Infinite Review

The critically acclaimed action-shooter Rez Infinite was developed back in 2001 (as simply Rez) by United Game Artists and published by Sega who produced the game for Dreamcast and PlayStation 2. Tetsuya Mizuguchi, the lead designer, and producer, formulated the idea of an appealing game that is easy to understand, challenging to play, and riveting all at the same time.

Rez Infinite excites the senses with its colorful game universe and is a real test of Amazon Luna’s video performance.

Rez Infinite on Amazon Luna is amazing!

Gameplay

The 3D game universe takes you into another realm with the headset. You can play Rez Infinite without a VR headset but for a truly futuristic experience, the headset is recommended. The game starts with you like the character flying in mid-air. After a while obstacles start to appear that your character shoots down. Each shot is met with a melodious sound that signifies the destruction of the obstacle ahead. Most of the obstacles come in the form of enemy drones that need to be neutralized before they can do damage to you.

The level changes as soon as you destroy the required number of enemies. The next level is even faster and brings even more challenges. The musical background aptly signifies the change in-game speed allowing you to make the necessary adjustments.

Graphics

The musical action-shooter game is filled with an abstract futuristic design theme. You can compare it with the Matrix movie’s theme in a way where the character is transcending from one dimension to another. Overall the graphics are not very sophisticated given that the game has been around awhile. Visually it’s much the same as the PC, PS4, Xbox One and Stadia versions.

Final Thoughts

If you are looking for your first Amazon Luna game, something that you can that you can quickly pick up and play and have endless amounts of fun then Rez Infinite is the game for you. Even if you’ve played it before on other platforms, you really should give this a go on Amazon Luna!
